NASA operations detailed
At least 12 amateur stations associated with the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration will be active July 19 to 22 to
commemorate the 25th anniversary of humans landing on the moon, on
July 20, 1969, on Apollo 11. The operations will begin at 0700 UTC
July 19 and end at 0500 UTC July 22, coinciding with the time the
Apollo Moon Lander (the Eagle) was on the moon's surface in 1969.
Stations are expected to be on modes including CW, SSB, FM, packet,
Pactor, Amtor, RTTY, SSTV, ATV, and amateur satellites. Here are
the 12 stations expected to be active:
Ames Amateur Radio Club, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field,
